אגף 121

אגף 121 היא סוכנות סייבר צפון קוריאנית שהוקמה בשנת 1998 ומהווה חלק מזרוע המודיעין של הכוחות המזוינים של צפון קוריאה.[1][2]

על פי דווחי הרשויות האמריקניות, זרוע המודיעין (Reconnaissance General Bureau) מנהל מבצעים חשאיים ויש לו ששה אגפים.[3][4] פעולות סייבר נחשבות דרך חסכונית יחסית עבור צפון קוריאה לשמירה על האופציה הצבאית האסימטרית, וכן כאמצעי איסוף מודיעין; המטרות המרכזיות לאיסוף מודיעין עבור צפון קוריאה הן: דרום קוריאה, יפן, וארצות הברית.

יחידה נוספת ידועה (לכאורה) בזרוע המודיעין נקראת משרד מספר 91.[5]
